Please note that you are strongly encouraged to reach out well in advance of the final deadline (2-3 months) to provide yourself adequate time to develop your research proposal. Studentships in our department are very competitive and a high quality research proposal is essential to receive a funded offer.
Daniel Jolles, MSc. Daniel is currently completing his Masters by Dissertation (MSD) at the University of Essex, UK. His current research looks at work commitment and identity in the transition to retirement. Daniel has spent more than 10 years working as a project management consultant, and has a successful track record delivering business change projects in large organisations. He completed his MSc in Psychology at the University of Essex in 2018. Daniel is co-supervised by Dr Veronica Lamarche & Dr Jonathan Rolison.
Samuel Ingram, MSc. Sam is currently pursuing a Masters by Dissertation in Psychology at the University of Essex in Colchester, Essex. He got his first Masters in 2018 from the University of Essex in Advanced Psychology. He also graduated from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania in 2016 with a B.A. in Psychology. His research looks at the degree to which modern social media effects attention to attractive alternatives for those in romantic relationships. Sam is co-supervised by Dr Veronica Lamarche & Dr Gerulf Rieger.
